BRUGT
Eastman archtops have earned a reputation as some of the best sounding and playing jazz guitars available. Built using “old world” construction methods, each instrument is meticulously hand crafted out of the finest materials.
The AR810CE features a hand carved, X braced top made of well aged spruce, flamed solid maple back and sides, and a maple neck. Aesthetically, this instrument takes inspiration from the modern, “clean,” cello inspired look of builders such as D’Aquisto and Benedetto.
The wood cello style tailpiece, dotless ebony fingerboard, Gotoh tuners, and nitrocellulose finish give the instrument a sophisticated, timeless appearance.
This guitar was built in 2005 at the Eastman plant outside Beijing. Originally it would have featured a Kent Armstrong floating neck mount pickup is installed, but this particular guitar has been modified to feature a built-in full size Gibson humbucker, bringing it up to the same spec that the AR810CE model is produced with today.
The guitar is is in great condition overall. It has been played, so it has a few marks here and there, but is in otherwise excellent condition. Includes original light weight black hard shell fiberglass case.
