Woodstock Guitars

Quite rare and really, really nice Guild Starfire IV, made in the Westerly, Rhode Island Guild factory in the USA in 1997. This guitar is almost immaculate, with just a little bit of playwear showing here and there. In awesome condition for being nearly 30 years old.

The Starfire IV is a bone fide Guild classic, and unfortunately no longer made in the US. It’s got slightly sharper contours than an ES-335, but is overall similar to the Gibson in looks and construction, while the Guild humbuckers are generally considered to be slightly clearer and brighter in sound.

This guitar features a beautiful flame maple body, an even more beautiful flame maple neck (wow!) and rosewood fretboard. It sounds wonderful, and plays like a new guitar. This guitar has the desirable Seymour Duncan-made pickups, which are considered superior to the later (and identical-looking) Fender-made humbuckers. Includes original Guild hardshell case.
