BRUGT

Interesting and rarely seen 1995 Rickenbacker 325V9 in supercool Jetglo!  Originally introduced in 1958, the Rickenbacker 325 gained legendary status largely due to its association with John Lennon. Lennon famously played an early 1958 Rickenbacker 325, purchased in Hamburg, Germany, which he eventually customized with a black finish.

This guitar became an iconic part of The Beatles’ early image and sound, heard on hits like “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” The 325’s distinctive short scale, three pickup design, and unique semi-hollow body construction gave Lennon’s sound a distinctive, jangly tone that influenced a generation of musicians.

This 1995 reissue, crafted to match the unique spec of Lennon’s guitar, is a wonderful instrument in good condition despite noticeable playwear, consistent with its age and gigging history. The knobs have been changed, originals are not present. The frets show only minor wear, and the guitar remains incredibly playable. Weight is 3200g. Includes original silver-colored Rickenbacker case.
