OK, it’s a tired cliché, but once again here’s something you REALLY don’t see every day. This is a New Old Stock, never sold, 1-of-30 Hohner “Black Prince”, designed by Staufer Guitars for Hohner as part of their 150th anniversary. A total of 60 were made, of which 30 was this “Black Prince” version.

The Artist Elite Black Prince is a custom designed, hand-assembled in Europe, a precision instrument that was developed by Hohner in collaboration with Andr Waldenmaier, the founder of Staufer Guitars in Germany in a very limited number.

The Artist Elite Black Prince is finished in high gloss black, with a unique all wood binding and features a VSVG Wilkinson tremolo system by Gotoh And a custom pickup configuration consisting of two Staufer Blues single coils and a Staufer hot humbucker made in Germany by renowned pickup designer Harry Haussel, who is also famours for his work with Nik Huber Guitars.

In addition, the Black Prince is equipped with Schaller M6 locking tuner machine heads and Schaller security locking strap-pins. This guitar is a collector’s item, as well as an amazing instrument. Hardcase included.
