Near-mint condition 2010 25th Anniversary PRS Custom 24 with the highly sought-after 57/08 pickups!
Twenty-five years of building consistent instruments to extremely high quality standards centred around innovation and constant change has made the PRS Custom 24 a perennial favourite with guitar players. The Custom 24 is the original PRS; the guitar Paul Reed Smith company was founded on, the guitar Paul Reed Smith took to his first trade show in 1985, and the first guitar produced in the PRS factory.
To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, PRS is offering the PRS Custom 24 guitar with special features such as shadow bird inlays, anniversary headstock eagle, bound rosewood fretboard, 57/08 pickups, and a gorgeous quilted flamed maple 10-Top in an array of enchanting finishes.
Standard features of this historic PRS guitar include a mahogany back and sides, natural maple body binding, a 25″ scale length, a wide/thin PRS neck profile, nickel hardware, Phase II low-mass locking tuners and the patented PRS tremolo bridge.
The 25th Anniversary PRS Custom 24 guitar is loaded with 1957/2008 pickups that allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. PRS obtained the rights to the original pickup wire used in the most revered pickups in the 50’s in 2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name. A 5-way rotary switch expands the tonal possibilities with a variety of pickup coil combinations.
Comes with original white 25th anniversary Tolex hardshell case.
