Nik Huber Orca The Seahorse Ltd Series II Ruby Red 2023

Hand-built high end Nik Huber Orca “Seahorse” special edition. This is number 12 of 16, built in 2023 for the retailer Max Guitars in the Netherlands.

The Orca is Huber’s interpretation of the legendary 1959 single cut solidbody, with a flame ample top, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, ebony headstock, handwound pick-ups with a very classic and open sounding vintage tone.

The Seahorse special edition is basically an Orca ’59 with a no nonsense ‘work-horse’ attitude relected in the beautiful satin nitro finish and light weight of 3600g. This is a super resonant guitar that really highlights what serious high end guitar building can and should be.

The guitar is effectively like new in every way, we can’t see a mark on it anywhere. Frets are 100%. Weight is 3600g, neck is nice and chunky, and this guitar plays and sounds every bit as good as you would expect. Comes with original Nik Huber branded gig bag and COA.
